From Snow Melt to Met Office Forecasting...

Leave Comment
With rapid snow melt and very heavy rain at times over the last few days, the little stream that usually flows through the woodland at the bottom of our road is today pretty much ready to overflow in many places. Thankfully its all in a dip and would never pose a risk to homes etc as its too far away and low for that but in about two days its turned from a gentle stream into a raging river. It makes me wonder what the River Severn is like not too far away in Stourport on Severn.

On a slightly more positive note, although the temperatures arent that high its rather balmy compared to the last month! :icon_lol: While walking the dog, for the past month it was wrapping up very warm with coats gloves, thick socks etc. Today a hooded top was enough as the extra layer!

The threat of snow could return here on Wednesday with the potential for battleground snowfall. Not nailed on yet but should it happen it would make everywhere a lovely, white. Now the snow has almost gone here currently it looks very strange as the snow cover lasted so long before!

Although i love the snow, it has been a nice break from shivering all the time! It can snow as much as it wants for me until about the end of March but after then i would like to see Spring and then Summer to start kicking in but it never works out like that...

...especially when the Met Office is in charge of forecasting that far out from now! :dancer: :hysterica :D

I needn't say any more about that! B)
