Geonaute Weather Station from Home Bargains

    I thought I would buy one of these basic weather stations, which are currently on sale at Home Bargains for £5.99.
    It appears that the same model is currently on sale on Amazon for £14.95.
    Unfortunately one problem with the one I have is that the numbers on the display are barely visible and nothing like as bright
    as the illustration on the removable protective cover on the display.
    I don't know whether it is supposed to be that dull or if I am doing something wrong.
    I don't suppose anyone else has one of these, to let me know how the display is supposed to look?
