This is the thread for new members to acquaint themselves with some of the aspects of the forum. If you are reading this, presumably you have completed the registration process. If not, join now its simple and free

First of all, you might like to add yourself to the Members Map.

Then why not say hello and introduce yourself on the General Discussion Forum.

Once you've got the formalities out of the way, it's down to business.

If you have a weather station you might want to give us a Weather Report for the day in question. If you don't have a weather station, then you can look out of the window or even tap the barometer in your hall - it's just as good!

Now remember, you don't have to be really into the weather and have loads of equipment to join in - you will see there is plenty of non weather conversation too

Some of the more keen weather enthusiasts may even have a computerised weather station with a website, if you do tell us about it in the Members Weather Stations section.

Above all, have fun, join in and welcome to the Community. If I think of anything else I will post it below.

If you have a website and a re based in the Midlands, you may want to add it to the Midlands Weather Ring

Additionally, it is also worthwhile adding a link in your signature and marking your homepage URL, both from within your User Control Panel.
