Lidl & digi-tech 4-LD1558 (-1hr) Weather Station Lidl 4-LD1558. Budget Weather Station. Made by digi-tech. Got one of these from the Kingston (upon Thames) branch SAT17MAY08. £14.99 as stated. They had got three more. I shop there about once a month, but I doubt that I would have noticed this in passing, since I dont associate electronic gadgets with Lidl. Good One Brymboman. Thanks for the info about the availability of this. First Whinge. A universal complaint about the marketing of electronic gadgets, is that you cant tell what you are buying from the scant info on the outside of the box. You have to read the instruction leaflet which is inside the sealed box. You just have to buy the thing blind, and hope for the best. The info on the box is: "Modern weather station with external sensor and radio controlled clock. Up to 3 external sensors can be connected. Barometer, hygrometer, weather forecast, sunrise and sunset times, tides, illumination. Batts included." Thats all the description there is, plus a picture from which one might infer some info. This whinge also applies to Maplin, who one would have thought ought be the experts in this. You go to their website and click for more info, but only a few odd points are there. What they need to do is reproduce the instruction leaflet. Second Whinge (minor). I have had the thing for 4 days, but not yet powered it up. The reason is the setup procedure will require care, it might take 2 hours to lock in its signals, and I havent yet found time to do it.
Re: Lidl & digi-tech 4-LD1558 (-1hr) Weather Station The 2 hours to set up might be referring to the clock gaining reception from an atomic signal. Normally these units connect quite quickly when synchronised.
The EAN/IAN is bar coding . We used to check these codes on confectionery packaging deliveries prior to use on production plant. These bar codes are used by the supermarkets / warehouses etc for identification for handling and at supermarket checkouts. We had to ensure good performance to keep the big Tescos/Sansburies/Morrisons etc, etc happy and we needed to keep our suppliers on their toes too. Here is a Wicky that does some explaining http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Article_Number_(EAN) . Hope this helps.
I think he wants to know what the actual code is (the number on the bottom) The question was lost in translation I think
Please ask the importer/manufacturer whose details are on here http://inter-quartz.de/de/1-LD2179.html by phone or email for the EAN Number. It is possible that a Lidl company address in your location country could also provide you with it. I do not have the 4-LD1558 myself as the code would have been on the packaging. I have not been able to locate it by several Google search sessions.
But when I need this 4-LD1558 weather station EAN- code!!!! Please!!!!! Please!!!! Please!!!! Please!!!!
