    THE RISK CRITERIA:

    Risk Criteria Key:

    Level 1: A very low potential Event that may cause disruption.

    Level 2: Low potential Event that may cause disruption.

    Level 3: Moderate likely Event possible- Some disruption possible.

    Level 4: Moderate/High likely Event possible with disruption likely to be caused.

    Level 5: High potential Event (Fairly Severe Event) with disruption very likely and a low risk of Severe disruption.

    Level 6: Very High potential Event (Severe Event) likely with disruption definate and a moderate possibility of Severe disrution.

    Level 7: A very Severe Event with Disruption and Severe disruption all likely.


    Levels 1-4 will often come under a Weather Watch.
    Levels: 4-7 will often come under a Weather Warning.

    In order to simplify the member warnings the criteria has been reduced to 3 levels.

    They are:

    • members advisory
    • members watch
    • members warning
    as per the image attachment.
