What Do the Warnings Mean?

    Earlier this year, the Met Office changed the warning system especially in how the warning areas are designated using a more hand drawn generally more specific area rather than just filling counties in. Whilst perhaps more defined these are not the only changes introduced.

    How a watch or warning is warranted has slightly changed as well using a matrix style system.
